Becoming a Master Gardener Volunteer
Are you interested in learning more about the science of horticulture and sustainable gardening?

If your answers are "yes", why not join the over 600 King County residents who serve as Master Gardener volunteers?
A new class of Master Gardeners is trained each year. Applications for the class of 2009, which will be held on Tuesday, will be available here for downloading on August 1, 2008.The 12-week training will begin in early January of 2009. You may also send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to

and an application will be mailed to you as soon as they are printed.
Applicants to the program commit to 90 volunteer hours during their first two years in the program, with a minimum of 45 of those hours earned in the first year.
