Filming for Hmong Family Farms Youth Project

Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the project web page of the Hmong Video Club. This club was organized by the efforts of Bee Cha of the WSU Small Farms Program and Todd Murray of WSU King County Extension along with Sarah Butzine and Sue Lerner, educators with WSU King County 4-H.
The purpose of this project is to engage Hmong youth in helping the family farms of King County develop sustainable agricultural practices. With the kids' help, we are creating demonstrative, instructional videos to enhance Hmong farming businesses and help develop sustainable skills in agriculture.
To view a project summary of our training, visit our Reports page.
Support provided by King Conservation District, WSU Small Farms Program and King County Agriculture Program, the Hmong Youth Video Club was able to assemble digital video production tools. Skill-building and video training is being provided by 911 Media Arts Center, a community leader in empowering youth with video skills. Long term goals include the engagement youth of all types in developing skills in digital media while creating education for farmers in King County.
Please visit regularly for our progress and feel free to contact us if you have any questions and comments by emailing Todd Murray.
