Why an onion?

An ONION represents transparency, layers, and it's sometimes stark and sometimes sweet flavors are used for cooking in a number of different ethnic cuisine. We love the onion here in Washington State for it's resilience (Puget Sound soils are a great place for onions!).Striving to build and maintain a leadership council with such qualities as 1)diversity, 2) transparency in decision making, 3)exciting flavor, we feel is an excellent goal!
