This course combined with face-to-face training and ongoing learning opportunities demonstrate our appreciation of your commitment to serve youth.

Volunteers are vital to 4-H Youth Development. They support the mission of 4-H to teach others and to enhance personal growth.

Many volunteers get involved in activities unfamiliar to them. Using resources available, a volunteer can gain a working knowledge of 4-H. Volunteers can become guides and resources to youth developing a partnership, which together, builds skills for the youth and adults! Volunteers are needed to work with youth or in a resource position within
4-H.

To volunteer, please submit the following three (3) documents:

1) Complete a volunteer application form
2) Complete an enrollment form
3) Agree to and sign "A Valuable Partnership" contract

Mail all three to:
WSU King County Extension 4-H, 200 Mill Avenue South, Suite 100, Renton WA  98057.

The minimum required training in King County is the E-learning Course. Additional training sessions are held throughout the year. Please check our calendar for specific dates and topics. To share your requests for training and/or to offer to help train 4-H leaders, please contact Sarah Butzine at 206-205-3108 or Sarah.butzine@kingcounty.gov.
