"To Make the Best Better"

Youth develop life skills through 4-H to become capable, competent, and caring citizens.

Kid to Kid

King County 4-H has nearly 1,000 enrolled youth. We will be asking youth to give their perspective on what 4-H is to them.

Youth were asked " What is your favorite part of King County Fair or your favorite experience at Fair?"

Sarina, age 11

"I love talking to everyone that comes through the barn about my goat project." and "Hanging out with my 4-H friends."

Alicia, age 10

"I love to show my goat." and "I like meeting new people and talking to people."

Kacy, age 13

"It’s fun to show your entries to friends and family when they come to visit you at the Fair.  And it’s also a great to learn a lot about all the other projects."

Rebekah, age 11

"I like showing cats a lot. I like the 4-H stuff the most, especially art."
